Amalia “Alma” Gohn Announces new Website to Promote Success Principles

Special Focus on Young Ladies who wish to Achieve Success and Happiness

A new website to share success principles has been announced by Amalia “Alma” Gohn, the Chairman and founder of the Follow the Dream Scholarship Pageant, Inc., recognized by the IRS as a 501/c/4 non-profit corporation.

Alma, the manager and experienced Senior hairstylist and makeup artist who owns Amalia’s Beauty Boutique in Red Lion, PA, explains her purpose in starting the new website, which is being supplemented by a companion Facebook page and Eventbrite Page to help collect donations to help pay for the program expansion: “This we share: When you follow your dream you live the spirit of America and can achieve a life of happiness and success.  It all begins with the dream.”

cropped-160401FTDWebsiteMsthdSquare512-1.jpgThe non-profit’s major focus is young people, not only those who enter as contestants in the annual “Follow the Dream Scholarship Pageant” next scheduled for September 17 at the Wyndham Hotel in York, PA but also those who they hope to reach via the newly expanded outreach effort using the new website, blog, Facebook page.  There are plans later to expand to include other social media, especially Twitter and Youtube.

More details about the program, Alma’s background and the background of several of the group’s key Advisors, the group’s Mission, and their hope that some in the Red Lion, PA, York County and Pennsylvania community will join in helping to fund the new and future expansion of the group’s outreach efforts, can be found on the new website, whose name is FollowTheDream.org.

Website content will continue to be added to the website, including photographs showing past functions of the group and key people involved and new blog posts, plus more links to suggested books and other websites for those who want to learn more how to follow your dreams to reach for success and happiness in life.

Until the appropriate links and forms are entered onto the website, anyone who wishes to volunteer either to support this work as a volunteer, as a financial benefactor, or to learn how to enter as a Beauty Pageant Contestant for one of the Scholarships to be awarded at the September 17 pageant, can write to Chairman@FollowTheDream.org.  Comments or suggestions about this website may be directed to webmaster@followTheDream.org.
